The Minister for Rural & Community Development has announced a further €50 million in funding under The Community Recognition Fund for 2024- 2025. We are currently supporting a range of organisations for community/cultural facility development, sports club enhancement, school/parish facility improvements, equipment purchases and transport infrastructure.
Do you have a large scale project in mind but not sure how to bring the idea to reality? Community Centres Investment Fund has recently expanded to fund shovel ready projects with a 95% grant at €1 Million to 5 Million in funding available from the Government. 2into3 can assist you in application and help you get your project and the financial analysis inline with the Government’s Public Spending Code. Our recent clients include Castlebar Town FC and Glinsk Community Group.
Our grants team can provide a business case for development based on the five stage case model – strategic, economic, commercial, financial and management considerations. We recently completed a business cases for Glinsk Community Development, which was central to the application for Community Centre Investment Funding 2023.
We have successfully attracted two heritage based grants for the upkeep and restoration of a listed building in Cobh, Co. Cork. The process involved highlighting unique characteristics of this listed building and the wider community impact the investment would represent. We liaised with heritage conservation architects and submitted two successful proposals to the Historic Structures Fund 2023 and the Esme Mitchell Fund.
The LEADER programme has helped rural communities improve their quality of life and economic activity in their areas through community-led local development. 2into3 can help expand your rural tourism, enterprise development, basic services that help hard-to-reach communities, rural youth and renewable energy.
The Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund is a government initiative which supports major investment in sports facilities. These projects are primarily undertaken by NGBs and local authorities which has significant impact on the sporting infrastructure of their communities. We are currently working with Basketball Ireland to submit proposals for theie national basketball stadium and have completed a feasibility study into a potential LSSIF project in Kinsale, Co. Cork.
This Peace Plus is a continuation of the peace process investment in Northern Ireland and border counties, which is running until 2027. At 2into3, we have been involved in the development of project proposals for future youth arts projects.

We have worked with community groups, sports clubs, National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and special interest groups in order to access Government and EU grants. We ensure that the grant is the correct fit for your organisation and then make the relevant submission which reflects your work and highlights your plans.
Many of our clients have successfully secured their capital project target while remaining sustainable. To date, we have secured over €3.3m in capital project funding for sporting bodies and nonprofit organisations. In the latest round of Sports Capital Grant applications, 2into3 has helped 14 clubs and sporting organisations to secure a total of €2 million in grants.
The Community Recognition Fund aims to support the development of community infrastructure and facilities for the entire community in recognition of the contribution being made by communities across the country in welcoming and hosting significant numbers of arrivals from Ukraine and other countries.
In the most recent round, Sports Organisations received 32% of the Community Recognition Fund, whilst the remaining 68% was allocated to Other Organisations.
