Extern began developing a new Fundraising Strategy following the launch of our five‑year organisational strategy, Vision 2030, earlier in 2025. A key ambition within this vision is to widen and diversify our fundraising streams beyond our current government and public‑sector funding model, ensuring greater sustainability and flexibility for the years ahead. We knew we needed expert guidance to help us take this step with confidence. 2into3 were successful in the tendering process, and from the outset their professionalism, efficiency, and deep expertise in fundraising were evident. Their knowledge spans corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, major donors, and philanthropy, and their counsel throughout the process was consistently insightful and grounded in real‑world experience. The strategy we now have has been genuinely co‑designed by our Board, Strategic Leadership Team, working steering group, and 2into3. We are now moving into the operational phase with clarity, confidence, and the tools we need to deliver on our goals. It has been a learning curve, but a hugely worthwhile and valuable one for all of us.
