A Strategic Plan can be one of the most important tools for enabling your success.
By identifying your ambitions, you can then ensure that all your resources and energy are aligned towards your priorities.
A Strategic Plan can motivate your staff, volunteers, members and players – particularly if they have had a say in its development. We can work with you to get valuable inputs from your stakeholders, to ensure that your Strategic Plan is relevant and has buy-in.
Finally, your identified vision and strategic goals can inspire potential funders to support you to achieve your ambitions.
We understand the increasing compliance burden on sports organisations. Not only are the responsibilities on your volunteer leaders greater than ever, but so are the consequences.
Having a well-governed organisation is a key enabler for delivering on your ambitions, for your public credibility, and for your fundraising.
We can work with you to strengthen your governance structures and practices in line with the Governance Code for Sport, the Charities Governance Code and the Companies Act – as relevant to you. This could involve a review of your Board’s effectiveness or skills mix, or an audit of your policies and procedures.
We can build the capacity of your volunteer leaders and Trustees to help them understand and fulfil their responsibilities.
Is your company structure fit-for-purpose for achieving your goals? Do you have the right skills, capacity and capability to deliver your workplan?
We can cast an objective eye on your organisational structure and recommend how it can be strengthened in line with your ambitions. We can advise how to improve your organisational efficiency and effectiveness – for instance technology, premises, working practices, resources, communications, or culture.
