About The Role

In line with its continued growth, Co-operative Housing Ireland seeks to recruit for its newly created Head of Finance position. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will lead a dedicated finance team and play a central role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information across a multi-entity organisation managing almost 7,000 homes nationwide.

This is a senior leadership position with significant scope and responsibility, overseeing financial accounting, reporting, controls, treasury operations, and regulatory compliance. The Head of Finance will work closely with the Executive Management Team, Board, external auditors, lenders, and regulators, and will be instrumental in driving finance systems transformation and continuous improvement as the organisation continues to grow.

This influential role demands strong technical accounting skills, excellent leadership capability, and a genuine commitment to the values and social mission of the housing sector. The ideal candidate will bring experience of financial control in a large, regulated environment and the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
