We are committed to more than just filling roles. 2into3 seeks to ensure that all candidates placed by our Recruitment Team succeed within their new roles. We believe that when a candidate is sucessful in their role, it allows the nonprofit organisation to succeed in its mission. Taking this into account, we offer a no-fee replacement, should the post-holders employment be terminated for whatever reason within the first 6 months of engagement, other than for health reasons or redundancy.

Shannon leads the Talent Services Team, with strategic oversight of all campaigns managed by our recruiters. She has extensive experience of sourcing and placing senior leaders in the social impact sector, ranging from CEO’s to professionals in fundraising, finance, operations, service management, communications, governance and advocacy roles.

Hélène McArdle

Senior Associate - Talent

Hélène is a Senior Associate within the Talent Services Team. With over 15 years recruitment experience in large Irish organisations, she is experienced in scaling talent management, recruitment, and learning & development programmes. In her previous roles at Google and Workday, she also led community engagement and DEI programmes to create employment opportunities for underrepresented audiences within the company.

Aoife Duff

Consultant - Talent

Aoife is a Consultant on our Talent Services Team. She specialises in recruiting both senior and future leaders in the social impact sector. She has worked on a variety of senior roles including policy, operations and finance roles and has also recruited, supported and provided learning and development opportunities to graduates in a variety of roles across a range of subsectors.

Orla Dolan

Orla is a Co-ordinator on our Talent Services Team. Since joining 2into3, Orla has led on a number of senior recruitment campaigns, specialising primarily in the recruitment of nonprofit CEO’s and fundraisers, as well as finance roles.

Aoibh O’Shea

Aoibh is an Assistant Recruiter at 2into3. Her role is to assist in all aspects of the recruitment process, from placing ads and providing logistical support to conducting screening interviews and assisting with client meetings.

Our Process

2into3 specialises in recruitment of nonprofit roles and have a proven track record within the sector. We have worked with over 350 clients since 2006 and have developed an in-depth knowledge of your recruitment needs.

We provide a full life cycle recruitment process to nonprofits and social enterprises. We track applications via e-mail, phone and the various advertising platforms used, such as LinkedIn. Applicants are sent the detailed candidate briefing document and are screened to assess their suitability for interview.

The client is invited in at a later stage to meet shortlisted candidates. When candidates are deemed appointable, we take care of contract offers and references.

We do things differently at 2into3 and our success to date shows this is effective. In 2023, 2into3 successfully filled 31 roles for a range of social impact organisations. Of these 31 roles,

- 2 were referrals from other practice areas
- 19 were repeats business from past clients
- 10 were inbound requests, most of which were referrals from past clients

Executive Level

Getting the right appointment for an executive level position is vital to an organisation. We build strong candidate pools of people equipped with the necessary skills to meet the needs of our clients. We seek to place people who can truly help the organisation achieve its mission. For such crucial appointments 2into3 does not just recruit the candidate, we provide additional induction support.

Middle Management Level

Nonprofits are not just a board and a senior management team; mid-level managers are key to the overall success of an organisation. These positions need enthusiastic and hungry candidates with a passion to drive the organisation forward. Our processes are tailored to the specifications of each individual role to ensure the best candidate for that organisation is found.

For Purpose Graduate Programme

2into3 also manages For Purpose Graduate Programme. This is a unified graduate programme for the nonprofit sector in Ireland which attracts, mentors and develops the future leaders of the sector. The programme connects nonprofit organisations with talented graduates who are searching ‘for purpose’ in their careers and the chance to make an impact on civil society.

Co-operative Housing Ireland

Co-operative Housing Ireland’s originated in supporting homeownership co-operatives. Today, their organisation delivers 600-700 homes to low-income households on local authority housing waiting lists.
