Sheena Horgan
Sheena Horgan is the Director of Advisory Services at 2into3. Sheena has extensive governance, advocacy and transformation credentials. As previous CEO at Drinkaware, she led the charity through two 3-year strategic cycles, growing its funder base, political advocacy and public engagement.
In her role as CEO of the Psychological Society of Ireland, she implemented an across-the-board review of the membership body, to deliver robust finance, governance & operational systems. Her transformative stewardship saw a significant increase in membership, an expanded and re-structured team and critically established positive relations with the profession’s regulator, CORU.
Sheena’s career also includes advising private, nonprofit, public and international entities, in the UK at the top 100 agency Eulogy! which she founded and ran for eight years. She supported a broad range of organisations with strategy and stakeholder development, communications and crisis management.
Sheena holds an MBA, a Diploma in Corporate Governance, Professional Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy, Professional Certificate in Digital Policy and a Certificate in Multi-sectoral Approaches for Health. She also has several award credentials to her name, including Women in Business not-for-profit CEO of the Year 2023, Good Governance, Market Research and Communications awards and shortlists. She has also co-authored several published research papers, been an assessor for the SEI Awards and a hacker for the CII’s Charity Hackathon.
When not writing, reading articles or listening to podcasts, Sheena can be found pacing the sidelines of pitches across the country as a camogie manager and coach, or on the hockey pitch as a Vets and a League player where her enthusiasm surpasses her ability.
