Kiran Krishna
Kiran is a Consultant within Public Funding Services team at 2into3, supporting clubs and organisations through the Community Sports Facilities Fund (CSFF). He brings a valuable mix of technical and sporting expertise to the team, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Construction Management, alongside several years’ experience in the construction sector.
In 2014, Kiran made the bold decision to step away from his profession to pursue cycling full time, a chapter that shaped his discipline, resilience and commitment. On retiring from the sport, he was appointed Chief Coach of the Indian national mountain bike team, a role he held until 2024, and served as Director of the Tour of Nilgiris, one of India’s best-known cycling events, where he continues to act as an advisor. Kiran and his family moved to Ireland in 2024, where he took up hockey with Avoca Hockey Club and spent these years as a full-time dad to his two children while supporting his wife’s career. His grounding in both construction and elite sport gives him real insight into the needs of clubs developing their facilities.
Outside of work, Kiran is happiest active and outdoors, whether that’s playing hockey at Avoca, heading out for a solo run, getting in a game of table tennis, or chasing his two children around the park.
