Ivan is a Senior Associate, Advisory, at 2into3. Ivan delivers advocacy, public affairs and public relations strategy and governance-related assignments with charities and not-for-profits.

Ivan brings extensive knowledge and experience of effective non-profit advocacy gained from thirty years work at senior level in operational, financial, governance, strategy and representational roles in the non-profit, public and private sectors. Ivan’s view is that all non-profits should have an advocacy strategy as a crucial element of advancing their mission, and his job is to assist as many as possible to achieve that aim.

Prior to 2into3, Ivan was CEO and formerly Director of Public Policy and Advocacy, with The Wheel, Irelands national association of charities and community groups. Previous roles include Administration and Funding Programme Manager, Crisis Pregnancy Agency; CEO of Wicklow Chamber of Commerce; Manager of Wicklow Working Together (a local development company); and Manager of European Funding at Dundee College in Scotland.

Ivan has a degree in Psychology and a Higher Diploma in Development Studies, from UCD; An MBA from Smurfit Business School; A Certificate in Charity Law and Trusteeship from The Law Society; and a Certificate in Community Education and Equality Studies, from NUI Maynooth.
