2into3 expands team and services with Ivan Cooper appointment

2into3 continues to grow its team with the appointment of sector stalwart Ivan Cooper, adding Policy and Advocacy to its Advisory Services.

2into3 with a dedication to supporting and transforming social impact organisations, have appointed Ivan Cooper as a Senior Associate.

Ivan Cooper joins the Advisory Services team of the all-island consultancy, adding policy and advocacy to its well-established governance, strategy, organisation management, and crisis offering.  The appointment follows the recent additions of Sheena Horgan and Michael Nason to 2into3, reinforcing our commitment to providing unparalleled expertise to our clients.

In his new role, Ivan will focus on enhancing policy and advocacy support for 2into3 clients.  This is a critical area as many nonprofit organisations have an increasing need for effective representation and policy influence, but lack the dedicated and experienced capacity to deliver effective advocacy at a high level.  Cooper will also contribute to the Advisory team’s governance and crisis services.

Formerly CEO, and before that Director of Policy and Advocacy, at The Wheel – Ireland’s national association of community and voluntary organizations, charities, and social enterprises – Cooper has extensive experience in the sector.  During his 19-year tenure at The Wheel, he played a key role in influencing policy and regulatory frameworks, ensuring that the voice of charities and social enterprises was effectively represented. His long-standing thought leadership has been instrumental in delivering legislative and policy changes that benefit nonprofit organisations across the country.
