About St. Joseph’s Foundation
St Joseph’s Foundation is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for people with intellectual disabilities. It is a HSE designated service provider for such services in North Cork and South Limerick.
The Foundation provides children’s services under the Progressing Disabilities Model, adult day services, residential, respite care, elder care, home support and equine therapy.
About the Role
St. Joseph’s Foundation is currently seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer who will ensure effective, efficient, delivery and development of high-quality services to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their families.
Working closely with the Chair, Board of Directors and the Management Team, the CEO will lead the Senior Management Team in the implementation and facilitation of services. The Chief Executive has overall responsibility for the development, implementation and continual review of the organisation’s operational strategy while leading the delivery of services in full compliance with all legal and statutory frameworks.
To succeed in this role, the post holder must have extensive previous experience leading a growing organisation, identifying the needs of service users, and creating supports and solutions to enhance and promote equality for people with disabilities. The successful candidate will be a skilled, motivated, and committed individual with an outstanding track record in leadership, advocacy, management, and fundraising. Ideally, the postholder will have a clinical background or knowledge of the disability sector.
