About us:

Simon has a vision of society where no one is homeless. All people who are homeless, or at risk of facing homelessness, are given every opportunity to realise their potential to live fulfilled lives in appropriate homes of their own.

The Simon Communities of Ireland is the affiliation of eight Communities in Cork, Dublin, Dundalk, Galway, the Midlands, the Mid West, the North West, and the South East. Simon has been working with people who are homeless in Ireland since 1969.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced senior manager with the capacity to work comfortably and credibly at a strategic, analytical and senior management level. Candidates may have a professional background in perhaps business development, marketing or fundraising.

Their primary objective is Fundraising. They will ensure our ambitious financial targets are delivered but they will also help position the organisation as an instantly recognised brand on a National level.

• CEO Simon Communities of Ireland

• Permanent subject to probation period.

Location

• Exchequer Street, Dublin 2.

• Fundraising Manager & Fundraising Assistant

• To generate income for the National office and to ensure the National office compliments and adds value but does not compete with the local communities

• To lead, drive and implement Simon Communities of Ireland National Fundraising Strategy in all its aspects including the achievement of ambitious annual income and other targets.
• To continuously review the effectiveness of the Strategy and implement change processes where necessary.
• To maintain positive and close working relationships with local Simon Communities.
